Big Brother's cast-offs

It’s come to light that at least three of this year’s housemates were knocked back from last year’s series.
Charlie, Marcus and Rodrigo all got within inches of entering the Big Brother 9 house but fell just short of the finish line. The trio even got so far as to enter a mock Big Brother house to see how they’d bounce off each other and the eventual BB9 contestants.
It seems this year’s auditions were such a let down that Channel 4 head honchos rounded the three back up and gave them another shot. A source told The Sun: “There was a real dearth of contestants this time. Bosses had hardly anyone to choose from."
It’s thought that many people were put off applying for Big Brother 10 because last year’s winner Rachel Rice, 25, faded into complete obscurity shortly after winning the show.
